We're the Mingo Family Support Center and we are so excited to meet you!

Life can be tough sometimes, so we are here to help.
​
We are located in the old Williamson Swimming Pool building in West End. We get to hang out in the park all day and help you and your family be the best you can be! We have a some small pantries inside (food, clothing, hygiene, and baby items) and we get to host some pretty cool events and educational opportunities. We also have some of the world's best community partners that we work with - don't worry, we'll introduce you! ;)

Our services are for FAMILIES with KIDS (meaning: single parents with kids, 2 parent home with kids, grandparents raising grandchildren, teen parents, pregnant women and expecting families, etc. (families who rent, own, or other situation - such as living with relatives -)). Please be ready to provide PROOF that the child lives with you.

Families must receive or be eligible for DoHS benefits such as WIC, SNAP, Insurance, TANF, etc.

Food Pantry
We keep quality nonperishable foods on site for our clients.
Baby Items
Our baby pantry is stocked with diapers of all sizes, wipes, formula, rash creams, and other necessary items for baby.
Hygiene Pantry
Our hygiene pantry is stocked with personal hygiene items such as toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo, soap, etc. We also keep household cleaning supplies in the pantry!
Clothing Closet
We keep clothing essentials such as socks, underwear, coats, etc. in our clothing closet. Feel free to ask us about what we have available in the closet!
Group Classes
We occasionally host some really fun educational opportunities! We've done airfrying classes, cpr classes, car seat safety classes, budgeting and couponing classes.. you never know what we're going to do next!

If we don't have what you need, or if you need further assistance, we have tons of awesome partners that we can introduce you to!
